Day 1: HA NOI - BAT TRANG & LE MAT VILLAGE (L)

07h00: Depart by car to Bat Trang Village. Arrive at Bat Trang ceramic village, which is well-known for its high-quality ceramic and pottery products, which are exported all over the world. This is a place specializing in the production of ceramic products about 600 years ago. We will see the local workers making ceramic by hand and listen to the history and tradition of the Bat Trang village. We will also be taking a pottery class guided by local experts. After that, we will go to visit Le Mat snake village, where has long been famous for a traditional job: catching snakes. Nowadays, there are a large number of families that breed snakes to supply many snake restaurants in the village. The village is not only renowned for its snake-catching abilities, but also for serving delectable snake-based dishes.
12h00: Transfer to visit a local family and learn about their daily livings. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese lunch at a dining place with a scenic view of the Red River.
14h00: You are free to visit, and shopping at Bat Trang market. Or visit Bat Trang pagoda, Bat Trang village communal house built entirely of Bat Trang brick.
16h00: Back to Hanoi.
17h30: Arrive in Hanoi. See you again.
